I Stand at the Doorby David Alexander Hathcoat Rev. 3:20
Painted when David was 13, this image is based off of a drawing David did when he was 8 yrs old. It was a colored ink drawing of the doorway with the figure inside. When we were given the opportunity to create paintings for the Key of David project, this was the image he knew belonged in it. He added the aspen trees because we live in Colorado and the golden fall aspens were the perfect fit for his color palette. |
